About the blog

Dear reader,

I am Jona, the author of Desire Revolution. I am a Singapore-born Chinese who has studied Japanese and Korean. So I now understand English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Apart from learning languages, I also love to watch Japanese animation, Korean dramas, American movies, Thai dramas, and Chinese dramas, from where I develop my language skills by listening and reading subtitles. My favorite are Japanese animation series that are related to computer game titles based on the same story, and the genre range from fighting and adventure to romance, magic, fantasy, and the languages and cultures of different countries.

I have been writing this story for years, and have been constantly modifying the storyline and characters, and I have also scrapped many chapters when I feel that the development of the story does not feel right. Finally, I have completed the story, and have named it "Desire Revolution".

Desire Revolution was not just a story. It was a journey of self discovery. An exploration of different cultures, visiting childhood memories, visting memories of the different girls I have been attracted to, the trials and tribulations I have faced, and exploring deep into the recesses of my memory to find out what my possible past life could have been which could be connected to events in the present. Imagination or reality, I don't know. If it is my imagination, then I would turn it into a story for others to enjoy reading.

The purpose of this blog is to promote Desire Revolution as an E-book. At the same time, this blog will also function as my personal blog. I will be using this blog as a medium for self-expression, and sharing of ideas that may be related to the supernatural, religion, romance, social issues, languages, foreign cultures, literature of heroes and heroines in bygone eras, fairytales from different countries, my travel experiences, and so on. I may even be blogging on events that I have visited, and sharing their photos.

Do enjoy your visit. Have a nice day and stay tuned for more updates.

Regards
Jona
